Lovely gardens made for a peaceful retreat.
The steep, windy road to the parking lot was daunting and stressful, especially for someone not used to driving in such conditions. The lack of clarity in directions to the reception area added to my frustration upon arrival. The bathroom in my room was disappointingly small, and the absence of a manual lock on the inside of the door made me feel a bit insecure.

The location near the old town offers a beautiful backdrop with romantic views. Breakfast featured homemade items, including delicious vegetarian couscous and their own honey, which added a special touch. However, navigating the numerous steps to the town became a significant hassle, especially since the entrance on the higher floors didn’t allow re-entry at the same level. Additionally, the presence of a religious symbol in the room felt intrusive rather than welcoming.

We enjoyed our stay in this fairy-tale-like town. The hotel felt quite historic, almost like a castle, and the scenery was breathtaking. Our kid loved exploring the woodlands nearby, giving us a chance to take in those stunning views from the windows.
For dads, it would be great if the staff were more available in the evenings.

Beautiful grounds with a serene park-like setting and a lovely sun terrace for relaxation. The breakfast offered a wonderful variety of local specialties (don’t miss the homemade honey! ) and the staff was attentive and helpful.

Charming but Could Use Improvements
The location provides a beautiful view of the park and surrounding stream. Breakfast offered hearty German fare, though nothing unique. My room had a delightful touch of castle charm, but the low bathroom ceiling was uncomfortable. Make sure to keep windows closed if you prefer to avoid bats!
